Cookie Policy.

What cookies are.

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so the site can recognize your device on subsequent visits. Cookies are how online shops keep your cart populated as you move between pages, how login sessions persist after you sign in, and how preferences such as language or display options survive a page reload. Cookies cannot read other files on your device, cannot run programs, and cannot transmit viruses.

This policy also covers other browser storage mechanisms with similar function — including local storage and session storage — even though they are not technically cookies. Where this policy refers to “cookies” it includes these equivalent technologies.

Essential cookies.

These cookies are required for the site to function. Without them, you cannot add items to a cart, complete a checkout, or stay signed in to your account. We do not ask consent for these because the site is not operable without them.

Cart and checkout session: set by our e-commerce platform when you add a compound to your cart. These cookies keep your cart contents and order details available as you navigate between pages and through checkout. They expire when your browser session ends or shortly after.

Account authentication: set when you sign in to your account. These cookies confirm you are the account holder on each page load so you do not have to re-enter your password on every page. They expire when you sign out, or after a fixed period of inactivity.

Security and abuse prevention: set to verify form submissions came from your browser (CSRF tokens) and to rate-limit suspicious traffic. These cookies expire at the end of your session.

Functional cookies.

These cookies remember preferences you have set so the site behaves consistently across visits. They are not strictly required, but disabling them will reset your preferences each time you visit.

Store credit toggle: if you have a store-credit balance in your account, a small preference cookie remembers whether you have opted to apply it at checkout. The cookie holds a single value (on or off) and expires when you sign out.

Display preferences: any user-interface preferences that survive a page reload (cart drawer state, etc.) are kept in browser local storage and cleared when you close the browser or clear site data.

Analytics cookies.

We use a third-party web analytics provider to understand aggregate traffic patterns on the site — which pages are visited, how visitors find us, how long they spend on each page. Analytics cookies are anonymized at the provider level: IP addresses are truncated, no personal identifiers are stored, and the data is reported to us only in aggregate form. We do not use analytics data to build advertising profiles, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

You can disable analytics cookies through your browser’s privacy controls (see Section 6 below) or through any opt-out tool the analytics provider publishes. Disabling them does not affect site functionality.

Third-party cookies.

If you choose to pay by cryptocurrency, you are redirected to our self-hosted payment server (btcpay.roninpeptides.ca) to complete the payment. That subdomain may set its own essential cookies to track the payment session. Once the payment completes, you are returned to roninpeptides.ca and the payment-server cookies remain on the payment subdomain only.

We do not embed third-party advertising networks, social-media tracking pixels, marketing automation platforms, or chat widgets that would set tracking cookies. The site does not include Facebook, Google Ads, or any retargeting infrastructure.

How to control cookies.

Every modern browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies. The exact location varies by browser and version, but the controls are typically found under Settings or Preferences, in a section called Privacy, Privacy & Security, or Site Settings.

Block all cookies: blocks the essential cookies too. The cart will not retain items between pages and checkout will not complete. We do not recommend this if you intend to place an order.

Block third-party cookies only: blocks cookies set by domains other than roninpeptides.ca. Site functions normally. The payment-server subdomain may treat your visit as a new session each time, but completes payments correctly.

Delete cookies on close: deletes session cookies when you close the browser. You will need to sign in again on each visit, but otherwise the site functions normally.

Browser-level Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control: we honor the GPC signal where browsers send it. When GPC is on, we treat analytics cookies as opted-out for that browser.

Cookies and your account.

If you sign in to an account on this site, the authentication cookies link your browser session to your customer record. Account-level preferences (such as your saved reconstitution presets or Interac email) are stored on our server against your account, not in cookies. Clearing cookies signs you out but does not delete any saved account data.

Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves — for example, if we adopt a new analytics provider, add a feature that requires a new cookie, or remove one we no longer use. When we make material changes, we update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, post a notice on the site. Your continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
